This is a big problem, considering the likelihood that they will need to pay for at least 5 years of assisted living or long-term care.

Kathy Sharp
We’ve partnered with author Kathy Sharp in order to shed some light on this topic, which she discusses further in her book, Aging Into Poverty. Sharp lets us in on her thoughts on this looming crisis affecting a number of American women, their families, and communities.
Kathy recounts her own personal story, as well as her learnings and solutions that could potentially help other dependent senior women. As a Client of Green Line NW, Kathy is happy to partner with us in order to highlight this issue.
